Christopher Leo H. Andersen’s review published on Letterboxd:
This remake of The Mask (1994) was terrible.
Main character is still an average guy who's at a low point in his life. He finds a super power, that possesses his body. It gives him the ability to shape his body like rubber. He turns into a wacky, goofy version of himself, who wants to save the girl of his dreams. Bad guys want to obtain the special powers. It even has the scene where the shy main protagonist final confront his annoying neighbor, by showing his new cool CGI personality. And the scene where the dog gets the powers for a short while.
Skip this one and rewatch the original with Jim Carrey.
