Art... Pure, unadulterated horror art. There is a reason Carpenter is known as The Master, and Halloween gives you that reasoning from the opening to the final scenes with Loomis looking over the balcony.

Nick Castle will forever live in my nightmares, his supernatural presence on-screen scares the ever loving shit out of me. To the point watching I am fully convinced he will never die, he just keeps bouncing back, the sit up scene when Laurie thinks it's over, just terrifying on the big screen.

    Night School

Typical Kevin Hart crap, nothing original with a sprinkling of giggles across the inflated 111 minute run time, could have chopped off 20 minutes and had the same overall story. Haddish was the best part of the film, closely followed by Malco. Just overall underwhelmingly dramatic "break up" that is so ridiculous it just makes the characters feel like arses.

    Escape Plan 2: Hades

    - Shaky cam does NOT hide shoddy action or poor choreography.
    - Dialogue needs more than exposition dumps every few minutes.
    - Why Sci-fi? What was the point?
    - Iron Fist had better choreography, there, I said it.
    - HOW was this only 85 minutes long, it felt like 3 hours!
It doesn't even qualify as so bad it's good, it doesn't even come close to a fun B-movie, it is just shite on every level.

    Johnny English Strikes Again

Probably the third best in the series, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. It's a purely whimsical and spoofy 90 minutes you can lose yourself in. Atkins is as silly as ever, and his especades make even less sense this time around.
