Charlie Kupershmidt’s review published on Letterboxd:
Took my mother and sisters to see this and genuinely wasn't expecting them to be as grateful to be in a theater again for the first time in over a year, but BOYYYYYYYY was this the best movie to take them to see!! The brunch menu at the Drafthouse didn't hurt either.
That title number is maybe the happiest thing ever put to film, it hits me like a FREIGHT TRAIN OF JOY every time I see it. Can't STOP myself from crying, it makes me feel so much.
Sisters' biggest problem with it: "We had to watch like seven straight kisses that whole movie but they only said 'gay Broadway' once. HOMOPHOBIC."
