Inside Llewyn Davis ★★★★½

When I was watching this... I kept thinking about how deliberate everything is. Even the shortest most mundane line of dialogue pushes the story an inch further.
This movie is about change, or not changing, since non of the characters have an actual arc.
You move through the narrative from one place to another with the homeless Llewyn Davis, and for total immersion, the bleak color palette puts you in his head/attitude from the very first shot.
Carey Mulligan is one of my favorite actress' working today, I wish her character, which was one of the most convincing, had more to do.

The Coens best film? Maybe.
