Cian’s review published on Letterboxd:
Wondering if 80's teens really called out "mother" this often.
Freddie Kruger is like Bugs Bunny straight out the gate. Had always assumed he got goofier as the series went on, but here's goofed from the jump here.
The campy aspect is strong with this one, but when things get dark, it hits home. The dream logic at play is inspired, throwing the narrative off-kilter in a way that feels both natural and terrifying. A real good romp.
