It’s so extremely rare when you get a famous horror film that not only meets your expectations but surpasses. No wonder this film has so many detractors this is as far away as you can possibly get from conventional horror cinema. Honestly has more in common with YouTube horror series like Marble Hornets than most other found footage films.
This is so incredible bleak and depressing. Incredibly engrossing. The way the characters deteriorate and turn on each other is fucking superb. Put Heather right up there with Ash Williams and Laurie Strode.
Also wow the Razzie awards have lost all goodwill I’ve had towards them now that I know they nominated this for worst feature. Fuck off.
