the message of this movie definitely landed and it broke my heart. throughout the whole showing, i was engaged and kept guessing. i always appreciate mystery in film! it felt like a more grounded investigation that goes back to the basics without modern technology. i wasn’t expecting them to flat out have the reveal in a whole sequence, but doing so added more fuel to flames and genuinely made me cry. also, no disrespect to jeremy renner bc he was great in this movie, but i’m a bit confused as to why he was the lead when it would’ve made more sense for it to be a native american actor instead? my only guess is because of marketing and wanting to draw people in but idk. i mean, elizabeth olsen is enough for me. i love watching my queen go to work
