    Watched it on Indonesian theatres which have lots of cuts on many important moments. I felt that i missed some crucial things. Still glad watching it on the big screen though, because my eyes were definitely spoiled by every fantastic shots, and the beauty of the camera movements.

    Expectations not met, but i am satisfied. You seem to go to someplace fresh, that keeps you intrigued on the whole film. It's a fiction, but felt real.

    This idea of a local superhero cinematic universe is highly respectable. Don’t get me wrong, the reason i still reserved my time to watch this film is because i still always have a glimmer of hope from Indonesia film. And this exciting concept and big ideas was at first, highly admirable.

    Looking back at Bong Joon-Ho recent films, there's a much clearer message given from the likes of Snowpiercer, Okja, The Host, etc. It gives a broader in spectrum on the kind of world we are in. But the message were given in Parasite, --although for me is still a little unclear-- , is far more personal. There's even more depth in empathy towards different social class through the PoV of the poor.

    First half of the runtime is like watching a mediocre oscar bait film. Too much drama that might be enough for the fans, but not good enough for the neutral. It felt forced in many scenes. Trying to pull your heartstrings, but it didn't do much to me.
