Watched it on Indonesian theatres which have lots of cuts on many important moments. I felt that i missed some crucial things. Still glad watching it on the big screen though, because my eyes were definitely spoiled by every fantastic shots, and the beauty of the camera movements.
Expectations not met, but i am satisfied. You seem to go to someplace fresh, that keeps you intrigued on the whole film. It's a fiction, but felt real.
Maybe gonna speak more about it once i've seen the full cut.
It's more "Psycho" than calling it a horror film.
I was intrigued, but i feel like the script could be improved on giving depth on the characters. Not just some non-stop trippy dance or "cultural" rituals. I get it, they're weird.
