Review: 'One Man Dies a Million Times'

Documentarian Jessica Oreck's new feature is a fictionalized narrative that takes a true story from WWII and turns it into a work of dystopian near-future fiction. Critic Kayla McCulloch has a review of the film, which screens this weekend at the Webster University Film Series.

"The siege of Leningrad brought 900 days of misery to the former Russian capital. As Oreck asserts in One Man Dies a Million Times — bluntly, but with urgency — history is destined to repeat itself, even if the wall crumbles and the clock stops ticking."
