pretty fantastic. some of the best dialogue and editing I’ve ever heard and seen in a movie. my biggest complaint was the out of place songs. I know it’s supposed to be cheesy at times but some songs were distractingly out of place.
I know it’s a thing that Tarantino’s leads are anti-heroes most of the time, but honestly it didn’t work here, at least for me.
besides those two things, I adored Django Unchained. It was near perfect, and if those two things would be fixed, personally, I think it would have been a masterpiece.
p.s., this is definitely a film I will never show to my mom.
