From the beginning of October to the beginning of December, we offer five workshops on writing and filming, in which we collectively develop a mini-series with several short episodes.

From From July 10th to September 10th and in cooperation with our colleagues from the music department, we present a selection of film soundtracks on Vinyl alongside the matching Blu-rays and DVDs.

We have finished going through our rich VHS stock and identified the most exclusive titles - those that never made it to disc.

Our cinematic city walk with guide Stefan Zollhauser (Berliner Spurensuche) deals with how major political upheavals and the arrival of new technologies are reflected in Berlin's film history.

From early April to mid-June, we offer six writing workshops that explore possibilities of visual storytelling beyond strict screenplay rules.

On December 21th, the International Short Film Day, we present a film screening with 4 exciting experimental shorts from and on Berlin.

As part of our 'Themenpanorama' section and the ZLB series METROPOLIS BERLIN, which is dedicated to the 1920s in the capital, from Nov. 14 to 24 we present a selection of remarkable and influential works of German Expressionism and Weimar Cinema on DVD and Blu-ray.
