Cinemonster’s review published on Letterboxd:
Kung Fu Panda is a breath-takingly animated film that is at once a loving homage to a variety of martial-art film moments and a tender look at a relationship in a single parent household between a father (James Hong) and son (Jack Black as the title panda). Character design, voice talent and action pieces are vibrant and supremely executed. I can't stress enough how fantastic the voice cast is.
There are few animated features that can match K.F.P. for wit, humor and creativity. The panda, Po, states in the opening that there is no charge for awesomeness and attractiveness. I paid $8 to see it in the theatre, and $15 for the blu-ray. Your false claim aside, it was well worth it Po.
