Venghai ★★★

Hero saving his family and putting an end to the villain. This is the story in all Hari films. Creating different and engaging screenplays for the same template is the most difficult task and Hari is a pro at it.

Like all his films, this one too is racy, even during the end credits. The raciness ensures that we never get bored but a weakly written last 40 odd minutes and a shabby climax stop this film from rising to the full potential of a typical Hari film. The intense performer in Dhanush doesn’t get any scope to rock in this film.

Hari is one of those directors who has covered most parts of Tamil Nadu by picking different backdrops for his stories. In this film, it is Trichy and Sivagangai.
