This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

Content Warning: This review will contain discussion and potentially description of topics like sexual assault, suicide, harassment, and rape, among others. Please keep this in mind before reading.

Length Warning: This will be a very long review, and there isn't really a TL;DR. Read at your own peril.

Before I get into my discussion of this film, I would like to admit the apparent unimportance of me writing this review at all. My demographic is one that is highly insignificant…

This review may be longer than usual. I have a lot of thoughts about this film swirling around in my cranium, and it's difficult to write them down, but it's even more difficult to stop. I'll try my best to be concise, but I cannot promise that I will succeed.

I struggled for a long time about whether or not I really should put this above One Small Step as my favorite movie of all time. Finally, I realized the…

I think what's most beautifully haunting about Carrie is that it's one of the few movies where EVERY. SINGLE. CHARACTER. is cruel to our protagonist. Literally, there is not a single exception to this. In most films with protagonists that are loners or constantly mocked, they give them at least one friend, or a supportive parent, or someone that they can talk to since that does make the reveleation of emotion easier to transmit. Carrie has literally no one, so…

Acting in superhero movies isn't true acting unless it's Tom Hardy in Venom, don't even @ me.

    Final Rating still 7/10

Writing this review is hard. Literally as I was watching this movie I became a bit concerned about myself. I feel like I would be actively concerned, like not even a joke legitimately concerned about ANYONE that actually liked this movie. Yet as I say that...I like the movie, which means that this movie makes me concerned about myself. Which is concerning. Do you see? I have a lot I want to say about this movie but I'm not fully…

The Invisible Man is an absolutely fascinating watch, which of course was not at all what I was expecting. Based on the trailer and marketing materials, I walked into the theater expecting to see a fun horror film that wouldn’t require much use of my brain, which was about as far from this film as I could get. This is a cerebral, thoughtful, important movie that has a lot it wants to say and says it very well. I had…
