Revolutionary. Crucial. An emotionally potent film delivered at the perfect moment.
The final 20 minutes are nothing short of absolutely devastating. Both a chronically of history and an authentic testament to the incredible man that Fred Hampton was.
Daniel Kaluuya and Lakeith Stanfield embody Fred Hampton and William O’Neal so convincingly. The Oscar buzz is beyond well earned.
I am brief because I’m at a complete loss for words. Huge congratulations to Shaka King for this phenomenal film.
