YIKES!! Man, did this really, really let me down. Just about everything that felt so jarring, terrifying, and refreshingly unique about The Strangers is completely obliterated within The Strangers: Prey at Night.
What a bummer to see something fall so deeply into cliche genre tropes. Alas, alas. But, I will say, there are some upper decent sequences in this that are pretty badass and the soundtrack is fun enough to keep things moving!
All in all, another easily forgettable sequel that we all could have done without if we’re being totally honest.
