apparently I did watch this. I sat there the entire way through and the little red bar kept trinkling down to the right hand side of the screen. But as I consumed an edible mid flight and nearly greened out, I have absolutely no recollection of the film.

Barbie 2023
Left the cinema with a wave of sadness — couldn't help but feel like the film didn’t let the audience process the weight of the issues at hand. The film side steps that in the real world there is no tangible or easy solution to gender inequality. Barbie should still be malfunctioning. This isn’t the ground breaking feminist film it thinks it is.
