yeah I’m still shaking
one of the best movies
beautiful, crazy perfection
Yeahhhhhhhh still one of the most immersive and disturbing rides of the last decade ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Was way too overwhelmed to write all my thoughts last time - still am this time!
I’ll process it someday
Did pay attention to PD and sound this time, so much to unpack. Big inspiration for upcoming project. Can’t believe we get to live in a world where this exists. The scale of it... just so impressive. Love love love, while still wanting to look away at every second
Still one of the most personal movies I’ve ever watched
And one of the prettiest... excellent craftsmanship in every frame.
Watched with audio commentary from writer / director Joe Talbot. You know he absolutely loves this story. It shows. He loves this damn movie and this damn city.
I could watch this 2-3 times in a day and never get bored. So intricate, so indie; so special.
Pure love. Please sit down and watch it in the coming days if you haven’t already... it’s different, but it’s perfect.
My heart has been made sweet and warm again, Green Book you don’t deserve the hate you get, the power of changing through one another is more needed than ever and this is just so beautiful and kind ❤️
I really was able to enjoy the cinematography and editing this time - a restrained, peaceful color palette of blues mixed with browns that creates the feeling of a fuzzy sweater, and the excellent scene transitions that cut on jazz beats make my editing heart proud.
Can't wait to see Mahershala bring home the gold!
