Interesting documentary about actress/writer/director Sarah Polley's family, mainly concerning her long decased mother and Director Polley's paternity. Slightly overlong doc is always compelling to watch and at times, very interesting, but there's a sadness that starts to creep in and I started feeling bad for the dad that helped raise Ms. Polley; I wanted to know more about what he truly felt about his wife and her shenanigans (I hope that's spelled right - possible sic there). After viewing this doc, I found out that there were scenes recreated to match the old Super 8 footage Ms. Polley has on display here. I couldn't tell, as far as re-enactments go. But I did wonder who kept shooting all that footage of Ms. Polley's mother.
