this was fine. it mostly feels like a thinly veiled attempt for the russo brothers to be taken seriously in a post-scorsese-comments-on-marvel world but it really ends up feeling like a series of random shallow stylistic attempts with no consistency. tom holland and the girl from big time rush were really good but that didn't feel like enough to make it something worth sitting through 2.5 hours of ernest klein tier dramatic writing with pretty visuals. it really wasn't as bad as some people are saying in my opinion but i could tell from the jump that the russos thought this was their ticket for oscars and serious acclaim but like - we don't got beef with watching the big purple guy fight the bradley cooper raccoon!
+ one half star for tom holland anus pov
