I certainly can't deny that I was afraid that drive my car would be a huge disappointment. Movies where little to nothing happens don't have it easy with me and many have said you probably won't like it. 

Fortunately, that was not the case, because here it's really gone off. Especially in the for me outstanding first hour or first half of the film. One bang after another and with the very calm direction everything remains so relaxed. 

In the second half it is more about emotions which have also taken me in many moments but I must say not in all. Often there were lengths perhaps a little music would have saved the whole thing but for me the story could then only achieve half its effect. 

The film deliberately does not want to be a parasite where everyone’s head blowed, no and that's fine for me but will also have been the only watch. 

Great acting, great camera work and a touching story make drive my car for me one of the top films this year.
