watched this is lieu of Texas chainsaw massacre for my Kubrick double feature cause it was too boring. felt perverse watching this in the summer, but jesus if this isn’t the greatest horror movie of all time and definitely topical
it’s so incredibly Kubrick for one of his favorite movies to be a heartwarming and hilarious film about race, misogyny, and social class and the other to be a slasher about a guy who wears a mask made of human skin
