The couple in front of me ordered a hummus platter. They didn't like the movie.
Beautiful beautiful. Climax sequence has some of the best editing mixed with some of the best music I've ever heard.
Pearls were a great symbol imo. The first dinner scene ughhhh. Normal dialogue scenes were filmed with such precision that every scene felt completely different.
From a filmmaking perspective there is sm going on in every different scene. Idek how to articulate my feelings to this film.
The mediums/medium close ups gave me life. Seriously one of the most beautiful films I think I've ever seen.
Ending is odd I will say. Bad music cue. You have the most beautiful jazz score why didn't you go w that? Either way it was still a really decisive choice and I can at least appreciate that.
