This one hit home for me.

The Predator is fucking back with Prey

The best entry to the franchise since the original. This is what makes Predator so great, a simple storyline about a Predator’s prey overcoming the odds of an alien species.

I cared about the characters, the handheld action rocked, and the cinematography was stunning. I loved the point of view of an indigenous tribe where we understood them but couldn’t understand the poachers. And, the call backs to the other films were done nicely without being in your face.

Cowboy Bebop blends the western, sci-fi, noir genres together to make a completely one of a kind masterpiece in anime.

First off, the animation and drawing style tops most of the anime today. The subtle highlights and shadows create drawn depth that I don’t think is shown as well in other anime. It’s my favorite style of animation, which probably effects this bias, but it’s amazing nonetheless.
