Snyder pulls out his usual tricks to make this high concept heist film. No slow motion that I could remember, but his song choices were on the nose and his cinematography was hit and miss. At some points the blurriness was distracting but his sunset shots were the glow up of his craft.
Dave Bautista continues to excel at acting. While the plot structure felt derivative, the zombies were a refreshing take. Overall, it’s a good ol broey popcorn flick. What more do you need with a zombie movie?
