    Yassified Stalker.

The vibes are immaculate. It's weird, gross, and mostly interesting. The ending gets a little wonky, but I still dig this for the art/production design, JJL, and Natalie Portman's performance.

Ultimately, it's a very unique story of self-destruction and rebirth that I wish was longer and spent more time with JJL's all-female Shimmer investigation force.

    Punishment Park

    ★★★★½

Punishment Park is a 90-minute alternate timeline thriller that aggressively challenges the political climate, specifically the rise of police brutality during the Nixon era—not convinced? The film is presented like a Safdie brother's anxiety-thriller in a faux-documentary style. It fucking rocks. Granted, it's relentlessly intense and a lot to absorb.

    The Dark Knight

    ★★★★

Heath Ledger: the supporting character performance of a lifetime, giving it his all in every scene to create the only iconic moments of the entire Nolan Batman trilogy.

Literally every other actor/actress: some of the absolute worst, hammy, cartoon-like line delivery you've ever heard in your entire life.

This is Nolan before he embraced his worst tendencies to the nth degree. The perpetual score is present, but the volume is down, and it takes a breather when the plot needs…
