Bad news - this movie is written by Rian Johnson.

It looks great - it maybe be the best looking, most esthetically pleasing Star Wars movie but the 50% jokey Whedon-lite dialogue and over-complicated plotting make the whole movie feel so discordant and frustrating.

There are great set-pieces like 'red ninja stormtrooper' fight and I like Kylo Ren and Rey.
And the reheated audience I saw this with did seem to be into all this cheesy dialogue, so make it's me.
I 70% liked Rogue One and Force Awakens and I thought Star Wars had turned the corner for me; That i would get an era of Star Wars movies to enjoy but Its just not for me I guess.
