Lost gem of Ukrainian cinema.
I love that the movie is not poisoned with ussr propaganda and ideology, it is pure Ukrainian movie. The story is not about nazi occupation, but more about Ukrainian struggle which remained relevant through the years. I just dare you to watch this and think that the same happens right now here in Ukraine, for which all of us are witnesses.
