Cogerson’s review published on Letterboxd:
After Dudley Moore hit a home run with Arthur.....he went to this pretty sad bad movie. Moore plays a shrink who falls in love with a new patient (Elizabeth McGovern). I think this was supposed to be funny but I found it more than a little uncomfortable watching Moore stalk McGovern and even breaking into her apartment. Moore has Alec Guinness (as Freud)...and John Huston (as his mentor) trying to help him figure out if falling in love with a patient is a good idea. Final thought: Dudley strikes out in this one. Best trivia in movie? David Strathairn's 2nd ever movie appearance.
