Why I watched this one? I did not think I was a huge fan of Matthew McConaughey...but turns out this was the 33rd M.M. movie that I have watched.
What is this one about? A suicidal American befriends a Japanese man lost in a forest near Mt. Fuji and the two search for a way out.
My thoughts on this one? Not a whole lot of laughs in this one. A slow moving depressing movie. In fairness the second half of the movie is much better than the first half. McConaughey eventually won me over...as I started to care if he survived or not. Final thought: After a rough start the movie climbs it's way to an average rating from me....which is a 3 star rating in my book.
