It's taken me close to a week to put my thoughts to paper after witnessing the world premiere of RABID in front of a packed out IMAX screen at Frightfest. The atmosphere at Frightfest is always amongst the best, it contains excited genre film fans who are looking to get the next kick out of something spooky, intense, gruesome or brilliant (sometimes all 4) and when the turn came for RABID, atmosphere was at fever pitch. One Cut of the Dead 2017
Every so often a film hits you right in the nose and demands your attention, focus and wants to be the center of your everything. ONE CUT OF THE DEAD is one such film.

Aftersun 2022
Since becoming a dad, films hit me in a different way especially when the film is about dad and daughter, it’s impossible not to build some sort of relation and to imagine the situation if I was going through it. Summer of 84 2018
SUMMER OF 84 is the film the 2017 version of IT should have been between the Pennywise sections. The kids are brilliant in this, not over the top or over-dramatized, they feel entirely real and mischievous. They get comedy gold lines and enough solid interactions to make you feel fully invested in their journeys.
The film itself feels like the STRANGER THINGS have moved into THE ‘BURBS with wonderful characters that haven’t felt so likeable since TURBO KID. It is…
