I remember seeing this when it came out in theaters and thinking it was bad but... like a specific, contained kind of bad. Like, "oh, all the jokes are references to the actors' other movies. That sucks! but at least no other franchises do that." I could never have guessed that this movie's style of "humor" would become the definition of comedy for every single studio release. Don't you love it when John Wick says "guns, lots of guns?" it's funny! It's a reference to a thing you remember! That is the definition of good writing!"
