Colin Rinehart’s review published on Letterboxd:
Certainly better than most of the scathing reviews I've read for the film but it's also not one I can rightfully call "good". It isn't flat out bad either, just a big misfire that has most of the elements in place for a good Predator film but executes them incorrectly and the script is mediocre at best. Loved the characterization of the supporting cast, everyone there was great, and some of the action scenes were very well done, but it's missing something, perhaps heart.
I will say the memes about the son with Aspergers were just overblown, he has a few silly cliched smart kid with answers lines but where are these people getting this shit about him having super powers through Aspergers? What movie did these people watch?
