Colin the dude’s review published on Letterboxd:
If there is a Mount Rushmore for maverick crazy man actors, of which Brando is probably the George Washington, then the others might be Sterling Hayden, Klaus Kinski and Oliver Reed. And guess what? Sterling Hayden, Klaus Kinski and Oliver Reed all star in Venom, an exploitative siege movie where they take a child hostage and square off with the police in the vein of Dog Day Afternoon. Oh, and there's an inside threat in the form of a black mambo snake, stalking the bad guys and thwarting their plot. If watching the Mount Rushmore of mad geniuses writhe in pain over deadly snake bites sounds like music to your ears, then Venom was made just for you.
