Im a sucker for investigative journalism movies
Werner Herzog Eats His Shoe 1980
"To eat a shoe is a foolish signal but it was worthwhile and once in a while I think we should be foolish enough to do things like that.
More shoes, more boots, more garlic."
This movie made me feel guilty that I don't like marmalade
Nosferatu the Vampyre 1979
Besides being incredibly haunting, absolutely beautiful, and totally gripping Herzog's take on Nosferatu manages to touch on religion, enlightenment, life, death, love, and much more. I feel like I've taken a semester of philosophy in two hours every time I watch a Herzog film, and that's why I love him.
