Not really sure what the hell to think about this one. Ben Wheatley's films can be hit or miss for me. More often than not they require a rewatch to fully appreciate (Free Fall, High Rise) and sometimes I come to really like them in the process (Kill List, A Field in England). With his new eco-horror film I don't know if I will ever come to enjoy it. This seems to be one of his most divisive movies yet and unfortunately I'm on the side that sees this as a bit of a confused mess. Was hoping to get an intelligent sci-fi horror in the vein of Annihilation bit this was a bad trip.
