ok, like this really started in a way that was making me regret seeing this BUT the twists start coming in and i realize im watching a soap opera level melodrama and i am LOVING IT. everyone in the theater laughing, just having a ball with the craziness of it all. everyones hot in this, and it was awesome.
can’t imagine how immeasurable my disappointment would be if i would have watched even more of his best stuff before this. definitely think this could have been something if not kinda held back by the concept or it should have used the concept to incorporate what makes silent films so fun, just kinda a drag
