The Good of Evil: A Zon's Life Short

I wanna talk about my inspirations for the film. I've had most of these characters since elementary school. They were all doodles I liked to draw. It's very prevalent in the names (the main villain is literally named Evil, duh). It was then that I saw and loved the show Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends created by Craig McCracken (also the creator of The Powerpuff Girls and Wander Over Yonder). He became my main inspiration for wanting to make cartoons,…

Disney: Hey, can you make a Marvel movie for us? We saw your previous works and we think you have potential.

    James Gunn: Who? Me?

    Disney: Yeh boi.

    James Gunn: ...

    Disney: ...

    James Gunn: Really?

And then a legend claimed his birthright.

Hey letterboxd, it's been a while. I graduated from college, so you know... didn't have time to watch a lot of movies or write more intensive reviews.

Deadpool 2 improves upon every single aspect of the original film. Better jokes, better characters, better music, better action, WAY better plot, and still with a superhero microbudget. They still manage to make the special effects look really good, even better than all of the DC Extended Universe.…

I got to see it early! Woot! That was cool!

Kong: Skull Island did the things that I thought Godzilla did wrong. For instance, this movie doesn't hide King Kong. He's just walkin' around all monkey-like, chillin' and grillin'. Godzilla did this thing where it focused on the humans a lot, which in concept sounds good but was performed in an underwhelming manner. In this movie however, the humans and…

I'm sorry, I thought I was seeing War for the Planet of the Apes, not this unrelenting fusion of Schindler's List and Logan for monkeys.

This movie is brutal. I'm surprised it's rated PG-13 cuz there were some messed up visuals, which is made even more terrifying by the fact that this is some of the best CGI ever. Humans and apes are dying. There's blood everywhere. It's traumatizing, dude.

    Caesar's been hardened and haunted…
