Conchobarre’s review published on Letterboxd:
I find it incredibly hard reviewing films that I truly love and that are important to me. So instead here's an interesting fact: There's only 40 min of dialogue. Kubrick comissioned Alex North to write an original score and he thought it had at least partly been used and he found out otherwise at the premier.

The soundtrack is available and it's not bad but using it would have really changed the vibe. My fave is probably Moon Rocket Bus. None of it is a patch on Justin Hurwitz.
