Conner Rainwater Pickens’s review published on Letterboxd:
Only Vincent Price could have the haircut he has and the outfit he wears in this and still be intimidating. This is pretty much a straight forward witch hunter story, but definitely memorable and I really like that it doesn’t spend too much time trying to emphasize its views (which are and should be obvious). The violence is extreme for the time and it’s important that it is. This was a horrible moment in history. It’s extremely well made and never feels like an exploitation film. I do wish we got more Vincent Price, but when do you not?
