i can actually give this a grade now.

however, even after seeing this a second time, i still can't review it unless i somehow manage to garner the words to review the film.

all i can really say is that Alex Garland floored me with his hypnotic, godlike, cinematic kaleidoscope that is known as Annihilation.

it's artsy, but not pretentious. 
gorgeous, yet horrifying. 
beautiful, but also chaotic.
insane, yet intelligent.
this is unlike anything i've ever seen.
it's cinema from God himself.
