While it doesn't do anything particularly new for the genre and unfortunately is a little predictable, I still had a really fun time with "Ma". It knows exactly what it is and never takes itself too seriously offering up some nice humour while also having some genuinely thrilling moments. Spencer is excellent in this role and was clearly having a blast. I had a lot of fun with this one.
