Connor’s review published on Letterboxd:
"Thor: Ragnarok" brings audiences a wacky color palette and a drastically different tone. Director Waititi decides to tackle the character of Thor using comedy, putting the usually self-serious side of the character on the back burner. It’s a perfect decision for Thor’s third solo film, as the character and his story are both inherently goofy.
But while the film is fun, vibrant and ridiculous, not all jokes land and the plot does become a bit contrived by the end.
But overall, Marvel has managed to craft a Thor film that’s truly fun and a more than respectable conclusion to Thor’s trilogy. While Hemsworth’s future in the role may be limited, he’s certainly taking advantage of it all.
