    The Great Muppet Caper

    ★★★½

The Muppets are back, and they’re still pretty good. The Great Muppet Caper might be a downgrade from its predecessor, but it’s still a worthy addition to the lovable franchise. As this is directed by the creator of The Muppets himself, Jim Henson, it should be no surprise that this offers exactly what we come to expect from The Muppets. All of the Muppets like Kermit, Miss Piggy, Fozzie, and more are still their usual and lovable selves, and the…

    The Muppet Movie

    ★★★★½

It’s the Muppets’ first movie, and luckily, they really made it work. The Muppet Movie is one of, if not the greatest thing to have ever come out of The Muppets for all the right reasons. The film is an origin story, showing how Kermit and the gang all first met, and how they all want to go to Hollywood to become film stars; and it. Is. Incredible. The movie knows exactly how to keep its audience hooked throughout its…

  • Long Gone Gulch

    Long Gone Gulch

    ★★★½

This pilot took a long five years to make, and luckily, those five years paid off. Long Gone Gulch is another welcoming animated YouTube pilot that finds itself pretty close to the levels of other pilots of its kind like Hazbin Hotel. To start this review off, I just gotta say that the animation here is nothing short of astonishing. It’s noticeable this pilot wants to capture the lunatic feel of old Nickelodeon shows like Ren & Stimpy, and luckily, it…

    To: Gerard

    ★★★★½

DreamWorks really is on a roll with their new shorts program. To: Gerard is easily one of the studio’s best shorts for all the right reasons. The animation is both gorgeous and creative to the max, the two main characters are likable and have a strong bond, the story is really cute, heart is spread throughout, and the strongly emotional ending could make some people teary-eyed. There honestly isn’t much I can find wrong here, so, in general, it’s an absolute must-watch. If you have Peacock and don’t know what to watch there, try to watch this as soon as you can; it’s unforgettable.
