The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie 2004
about as perfect as it gets. one of the most brilliantly drawn animated movies, every single facial expression is transcendent and shows clear intent. every single joke lands. every voice actor is at their absolute peak. every cut, movement and quirk is laugh out loud funny. the style of this movie somehow manages to feel cinematic despite its tv source material and i think it looks better than any singular episode. there is nothing that quite compares to spongebob's humour, pacing and joke density. if only every animated show got the theatrical adaptation that spongebob got and so richly deserved. absolute lighting in a bottle stuff
