I feel immoral for giving this any sort of star rating, but for the historical record, it needs to be noted that it is very good. It’s one of the most depraved movies I’ve ever seen. Maybe the most. But where this differs from the shear pointless nihilism of A Serbian Film, there’s actually a timely message front and center here. “The cruelty is the point” The Movie.
