    After Reading the book, I knew I had to watch this highly acclaimed movie. Coming into it with high hopes, it let me down. Yes, Christian Bale plays his role well, yes, it stays mostly true to the book, and yes, they do a great job of keeping those memorable moments with Pat Bateman.
