I genuinely liked it. There were many problems, mostly too many plot details and not delving into its themes as deeply as it could, and it doesn't rank as one of the great superhero films, but it's pretty conpelling and has some interesting twists and developments. I'm definitely excited to see more of Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman and Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne/Batman was pretty solid too. Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor was kind of a mixed bag. He goes too over-the-top some of the time and then really gets under your skin at certain moments. Amy Adams and Diane Lane are under-used, and Henry Cavill's version of Superman is too close to the characterization of Batman, making their conflict lack clarity and sense of purpose a lot of the time. But overall, I think it's better than Man of Steel and the DC Universe might be slowly turning into something great.
