    Baby Driver

    I had a lot of fun with Baby Driver. I was glued to my seat for its entirety, so that I could see every slick dance move and every gunshot synced to the music. Baby Driver dedicates itself to craft in a way that I wish more did. Despite all that, I left feeling like I had seen Baby Driver a thousand times before and that I will see movies exactly like it a thousand more times.

    Brute Force

    Brute Force is a perfect "I put TCM on and want to sort of pay attention, sorta not" movie. The characters aren't great, but their one-dimensionality lets you tune in and out. The set design and camerawork makes it look real real purty so that when you look up from twitter you get these cool gothic watchtowers and gates and what not. I probably won't remember watching Brute Force, but that's alright.
